It’s still been pretty tough fishing for the average Joe Angler and even the experts are working very hard for a fish. Typical summer pattern of the best bite being before the sun hits the water or later in the afternoon if the wind permits. 

Trollers simply need to get something in the zone where the trout are feeding, when they are feeding and cover the water column above 25ft. Once the trout drop down or move out to rest, they have been tight lipped for trollers.

Bait fishing off the east side under slip bobbers has been successful in getting bites but tough to hook.  www.eaglelakefishing.net
