Success Lake rose to 67% capacity, and fishing proved productive as larger bass began taking baits in 5 to 15 feet of water. Anglers successfully used weightless Senkos and similar soft plastics in green pumpkin, watermelon, and baitfish colors, while drop shots, grubs, and shaky heads also drew strikes. Meanwhile, crappie hunters focused on submerged trees using small live minnows and minijigs, and catfishing remained steady for those who soaked SSS dip bait or cut baits on bait rigs.
