Anglers picked away at the lightening and rainbow trout using garlic scented dough baits, minijigs, Hookup Baits, live worms, and trout spinners and spoons. The light leader Carolina rig has been the bait angler’s favorite technique. Boat anglers trolled redworm tipped Wedding Rings, Flicker Shad, and Rooster tails for trout to eight pounds. Bass anglers worked weed lines and rocky structure for some decent fish. Get Bent Baits Fluke style baits worked for some bigger bass, and Senkos and drop shot scored fish too. Catfish anglers did well on smaller catfish with chicken liver and dip bait.
