The water level fell to 8 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair. Spotted bass took drop shot, small swimbaits, and jigs, in 15 to 30 feet of water. Crankbait eating bass were found in the rip-rap near the dam. Most bass anglers reported a few fish for their efforts, but some lake regulars scored limits. Successful anglers targeted points, submerged rock piles, and ledges. Catfish picked up cut baits, fresh shrimp, and dip bait, and crappie ate small live minnows out deep. There’s was a trout plant scheduled for the week of 12/10.
