Fishing remained fair for Hart Park anglers with bass transitioning into their wither patterns. Successful anglers reported downsizing their baits and fishing much slower. Some good Hart Park winter techniques include jigs, drop shot, and punching through the floating weed beds. With a lot of the vegetation dying back winter also opens opportunities for deep diving cranks, glide baits, and swimbaits. Bluegill and catfish will bite through the winter with catfish taking Carolina rigged dip baits, chicken liver, and cut baits. Fresh shrimp is another good option for the whisker-fish. Bluegill are reliable biters of live redworms, waxworms and meal worms rigged under a bobber.
