GENERAL CONDITIONS

The weather at Shadow Cliffs has been sunny to partly cloudy with the temperatures in the low 60’ to the high 80’s. Fish plants have increased recently and so has the number of anglers at Shadow Cliffs.

Water Temperature: 70 degrees, depending on depth.

Water Clarity: Visibility seems to vary between 10-15 feet.

Water Level: Water levels are very high at Shadow Cliffs and portions of the path along the lake is under water.

TROUT

On 5/29/2017 Sam of Pleasanton caught his limit of trout bait fishing early in the morning.

On 5/31/2017 a boater caught his limit of lighting trout in one hour and he was bait fishing near the middle if the lake.

On 5/2/17 M. Gutierrez of San Jose caught his limits of rainbow trout early in the morning and he was using power-bait and he was fishing by the 1st dock.

On 6/5/17 R. Samuels of Tracy caught 2 lighting trout and he was fishing left of the boat launch and he was using pumpkin power-bait.
