Kevin Severson & Chris Peek take two limits of trout by the dam on Powerbait of Powerworms and Kevin's big one, pictured above weighed 4 lbs. 4 oz. Local gal, Nancie Greene, Photo #1 was fishing near the bridge for bass using a crawdad lure and hooked a 5 lb. 4 oz. Rainbow trout. On Nov. 2nd Bertoni Delong of Colusa and , Megan & Josh bagged three limits of trout!! They fished as far north as they could and trolled shallow with a dodger and worms!!

Our lake has already received 7,000 pounds of trout from Fish & Game and private trophy trout combined in the past three weeks. This week we are taking a break but next week expect another double trophy plant of the larger trout. On Thursday this week Fish & Game will be bringing in our NET PEN trout and we encourage anyone that would like to help transport them in 5 gallon buckets from the truck to the pens to come help out! If you want to help be here by 10am. on Thursday for free coffee or hot chocolate and hang out and wait for the truck which should arrive by 10:30.

Anthony Wait, Photo #2 caught the biggest trout on Nov. 1st (a 6 lb. 4 oz. Rainbow) using purple Powerbait by the dock, and he was visiting Calif. from St. Louis, Mo. Brandon & Keaton Stokes, Photo #2 caught two beautiful trout, their biggest one was 4 lb. 4 oz. and they trolled near the island using a Kastmaster.

Kevin & Matthew Bell fished with Kastmasters too but they were tossing them from the shoreline by the dam when Kevin caught his 4 lb. 4 oz. trophy trout. Mickayla McDonnell, Photo #3 fished with chartreuse Powerbait by the marina and hooked her 3 lb. 12 oz. Rainbow trout.

Ricardo Gomez, Photo #5 and his little comrades caught a huge Catfish this trip! Little Sammy & big brother Juan Urrego helped him land his 8 lb. 4 oz. Catfish which they caught on a worm along with a beautiful Redear Sunfish. Noah from Yuba City caught a trout and a bass on nightcrawlers fishing on the sandy beach.

Kurt Fritzerg of Y.City tempted a trout with Capt. America Powerbait. Jovani & Judy Knox from Marysville caught the biggest Catfish this week (an 8 lb. 8 oz.) on chicken livers in the Open Area.

Regina McClarrinon of Smartsville was fishing the point on Goose Island and hooked an 8 pound Catfish on a worm. Ron Peters along with Gary & Denae Ross hooked 7 trout using either worms or Powerbait off the dam shoreline.

Terry Malone caught two trout by the dam on Powerbait while Stan & Pete trolled for 7 Rainbows using worms. Trolling Roostertails or worms worked well for another boatload of guys! Leonard Belk, Shane Toon, & Wyatt Hill caught a nice Bass and 6 trout!

*CONGRATS to Nicholas English from Yuba City who caught his 1ST FISH at Collins Lake, he caught his trout on green Powerbait. *Young Zachary Currier from Marysville, also caught a trout using worms by the dock.
