River Reports and Flows
The Klamath River is at 13.40 Feet and 17,000 CFS
The Rogue River is at 5.42 Feet and 6,770 CFS.
I have fished both the Smith and the Rogue rivers this last month the Fishing has only been fair.
I all so did a half a dozen bird watching trips on the Smith from my drift boat watching many different types of birds from the Aleutian geese to Bald eagle.
I can take up to 4 people at a time.
I also did some fishing around here for my self the red tail perch from the beach can be very relaxing and good table fair.
The crab pots that I have out have been fishing as well.
The Klamath River for spring salmon will start fishing in mid may after the spring water release from the dams is gradual reduced.
The Regs, for this year are 1 adult and 2 jacks per day for spring salmon and for the fall salmon there is a 2 adult and 1 jack per day bag limit.
The Klamath River fall salmon quota is 10,600 fish and that is a good. I am taking any bookings for all season this year so book early and get the date you want.
