Boca reservoir is low due to ongoing dam construction.  Because of the low water level, anglers have been finding great shore fishing by the Little Truckee inlet side. This area remains steady for trout. Anybody fishing moving water needs to use barbless hooks and it is catch and release. Anglers should use kastmasters, panther martins, rapalas, or worms off the bottom for bait. Boca reservoir is currently at 34% capacity.
