Stampede reservoir has been a consistent spot for great Kokanee. The best bet for good kokanee is to get there early in the morning before the sunrise and fish near the dam and island areas. The best Kokanee are around 30 to 40 feet in depth and anglers should try using dodgers, wedding rings, and hoochies. Rainbow and Brown Trout can be found top-lining with rapalas and small spoons. Shore anglers should continue to focus on fishing near the dam for any trout or bass. Stampede reservoir level is currently at 70% capacity.
