Bass fishing has been fair to good on jigs, traps and small swimbaits. Buggest fish reported was 6lbs, caught by local angler Brad Sheperd. Sheperd used a fluke to trick that fish. Some red ear also showed in the same locations as the crappie. Catfish still can be caught in shallow coves, with cut mackerel the bait of choice. All other species were absent from the count.
