Guide Danny Layne continues to enjoy excellent fishing here. He took a  foursome out and landed their limit in four hours fishing the old railway canyon and into Upper Bay. The kokanee are in the 50 foot range and the king salmon were active at the 80- to 90-foot depths. Uncle Larry’s pink tiger or mad Irishman my spinners of choice and a Glitter Bug pink U/V hoochie scented with garlic shoepeg corn are effective kokanee set ups. Rolling threadfin shad cured in Pautzke’s Fire Brine trolled at the above mentioned depths did the number on the kings. Danny Layne (209) 586-2383, Monte Smith (209) 848-2746. Bait Barn (209) 874-3011
