Catfish are still hitting. Anchovies, mackerel and Sardines are the best bait for the Cats.

Trout are starting to bite. They appear to like Panter Martins, Kastmasters and PowerBait of various colors. Black bass are hitting plastic worms or jigs. Smallmouth bass have been much more active. They are hitting on poppers, top water lures, Zara Spooks or Buss baits. People have been catching and releasing their limits of smallmouth bass in the 2 to 5 lb. range.
