Catfish are on the bite at lake Del Valle

Marina Hours: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm

Last Plant: October 1, 1000 lbs. of Trout were planted. Water Temperature: 75 degrees

They are tarting to let some of the water out of the lake now. It is down about 3 ft. The fishing is still really good for this time of year. Catfish are hitting hard. They caught a 17 lb. cat yesterday on anchovies.

Trout are starting to bite now. They appear to like Panter Martin and mirror minnows. There was also a 12 lb. Striped Bass caught this morningon a top water rainbow trout popper. Black bass are hitting rattle traps and spinner baits. Smallmouth bass have been hitting on poppers and top water lures.
