The Sacramento River Salmon fishing is shaping up to be a great this year I had 2 guys out Salmon fishing last week and they hooked 3 kings and landed 2 of them one was 25 lbs. And the other 1 was 21 lbs. both Salmon were very fresh fish dime bright and nice red meat. The Salmon are on a good roe bite right now. The Trout fishing is great right now on the Sac. below Redding . Tom and Marty were up last week for some Trout fishing they didn't have a lot of time we only fished for about 2 2 1/2 hours but they hooked about 20 Trout and landed 11 of they all were 14 to 16 inches. We were drifting crickets and trolling small lures. This is the best time of the year to go catch a big Wild Rainbow Trout.
