Ok! it is the middle of Summer and the bass are suppose to be deep and scattered from all of the traffic. Well, the last two weeks and even today as I took a great guy out, the fishing has been HOT!!. We fished just a half day and boated many bracket fish but took over 20 that hit the 2lb and above mark. We had 3 large mouth and 2 good smallies,, one of them went almost 2 1/2 lbs. The reaction bite was wild as was the senko and swim bait bite, but the key for today as it has been for the last few days was the jig bite. The Lake is now around 55 feet down and the temp is running in the mid to upper 70's. During the week and mornings the Lake has very little traffic. If you want to have some great fishing or to find out more information call me at 530-872-0907

The water temp is 73-76 but will rise a little next week with a 5 day stretch of 100 degree days. The temp is not the only thing hot here as the fishing has been also. Yesterday my clients boated...... Read More

We did notice as the week progressed the fishing and numbers did get better but the best patterns for the week were blades on points and ambush spots and swim baits in the...... Read More
