As we speak it is dropping a foot an a half each day and is about 44 feet down now. This is not a bad thing, it is what it is doing what it was designed for. The water temp is 73-76 but will rise a little next week with a 5 day stretch of 100 degree days. The temp is not the only thing hot here as the fishing has been also.

Yesterday my clients boated an estimated 75 bass from bracket size to overs up a 2 1/2 lb. large mouth. The reaction bite was on all day and the senko and worm bite also in the afternoon. Crank baits, blade, swim baits have been hot. I look forward to this time of year just for the reaction bite. Not all of the bass go deep this time of year and it is the feeding bass that are aggressive.
