Fishing Report Basshole Bait and Tackle Shop www.bassholebarandgrill.com Ben(Fish'in Comfort: phone-(530)238-9789 or Cell#(530)949-4303), Logan(his grandson) and I launched at 6AM at Packer's Bay. We set the downrigger at 65 feet using shad and rainbow-patterned lures. We caught a couple nice 2.5# Rainbows, then right at 7:30, as the sunlight came over the mountains, Logan landed a beautiful 3.75# Rainbow Trout. Logan added a 3.25# and a 2.5# Rainbow to finish out his family's dinner! We caught and released another 12 Rainbows and then took a well-deserved swim break! What a morning! The Spotted Bass are biting in 40 feet of water. It's not uncommon to catch 25-30 Bass on the morning bite. Catfish bite is steady. Stop by and check out the bait shop! David

Fishing Report Basshole Bar and Grill/Bait and Tackle Shop This week we launched at Packers Bay and after 1 1/2 hours we only had 1 Trout(Ouch!) So we trolled out past No Name Island and all of a sudden the bite was on! From 8AM - 11:30AM we caught 1 Salmon(4#) and 12 Rainbow up to 3#.
