Fishing Report Basshole Bar and Grill/Bait and Tackle Shop This week we launched at Packers Bay and after 1 1/2 hours we only had 1 Trout(Ouch!) So we trolled out past No Name Island and all of a sudden the bite was on! From 8AM - 11:30AM we caught 1 Salmon(4#) and 12 Rainbow up to 3#. All the fish were caught on silver & black lures between 50 and 65 feet deep. My buddy Ben(Fish'in Comfort: 530-238-9789 or Cell# 530-949-4303) is pretty busy but still has days open this month, so pick up the phone and plan your trip. Also, bring your swimsuit because we stopped and swam in the 74 degree crystal-clear water to cool off! I weighed in a nice 7.3# Largemouth Bass on Saturday night at the Basshole. I'm back to using the silver & black grubs and just knocking them dead. A few Catfish are starting to come in. Hope you are able to get on the Lake and enjoy this great fishery! David
