Trout Season starts with a bank at Del Valle Lake

Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Park Hours: 6:00 Am to 6:00 PM
Water Temperature: 58 Degrees
Trout Plants: 750 lbs. from Mt Lassen on November 9th and 2,900 lbs. from Fish & Game on November 7th.

Large number of people cam up to the lake this weekend to try their hand at trout fishing. The beaches were filled with eager fishermen despite the cold winter weather. People from all over the Bay Area have come up to take part in the trout fishing season.

The Marina hours as of November 1st will change to 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the park hours to 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The store and the park are now closing two hours earlier. The water temperature has continued to drop, now reaching 64 degrees as the trout season becomes more into season. The largest trout reported this week was 5 lbs.
