Fishing Report, Basshole Bait Shop, Lakehead, CA The Kokanee Power Shasta Lake Trout & Salmon Team Classic was a huge success. The weather co-operated and the fish did also. At the end of the report I've included the results. I've been extolling the superb fishing in these reports since February. Well, the "proof is in the pudding" as numerous German Browns over 5# were caught on the McCloud and the Sacramento Arm! Also, lots of big Rainbows and Salmon were caught fishing against a FULL MOON! It's not too late to get into this action! My buddy Jeff Micheals won the Forest Service Bass Derby two weeks ago using his famous swimbaits. The fish have spawned and there's one heck of a bite going on!
