The lake level remained low

The lake level remained low at approximately 10% of its storage capacity, while fishing for spotted bass improved. Anglers reported success using small finesse baits around rocky points, particularly in dark green with black flake, brown, and purple patterns. Hula grubs, and crankbaits worked well along the dam. Crappie were found holding near submerged stick-ups, and rocks in 15 to 25 feet of water, with small live minnows producing the best results, particularly around Horse Creek, although smaller swimbaits also caught fish. Catfishing was fair to good, with anglers finding success using dip baits, garlic-scented nightcrawlers, and cut bait.
