Success rose to 81 percent of its storage capacity, and largemouth bass were readily available for anglers throwing weightless Senkos near submerged trees and brush. Dark green and smoke black flake were effective colors, while crankbaits produced bass along rocky points and near the dam. Crappie anglers focused on submerged trees and brush, although fish were also reported near the marina. Small live minnows and swimbaits generated steady bites, and one lake regular reported doing very well on crappie while trolling small crankbaits near submerged trees. Catfishing was also very good for anglers using dip bait and chicken liver where sandy flats met deeper water.
