Kaweah Lake remained near 19 percent of its capacity, and fishing was fair. Bass anglers reported fair fishing while throwing finesse plastics, jigs, and crankbaits. A slow retrieve has been essential for the finesse anglers. Bass also fell for spoons on the vertical presentation. Trout anglers tossed out Carolina rigged Powerbait, Pinched Crawlers, and spoons for bites, and crappie chewed on minijigs and small live minnows over submerged structure. Catfish slurped up chicken liver and dip bait near the marina.
