Lake Kaweah Fell to 13 Percent of Capacity
Lake Kaweah - CA (Tulare County)
by Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The lake fell to 13 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported a good week of fishing. The bass are holding on main lake points and near submerged structure, and anglers have been using drop shot, Ned rigs, and split shot plastics for bites. Senkos remain a good choice as well. Green Pumpkin, Ox Blood, and Aaron’s Magic were some of the color patters which seemed to work well. Catfish anglers reported decent fishing near sandy coves using chicken liver, mackerel, and dip bait.
