The rockfishing has been a steady but tough pick due to the cold water temperatures but the fish we’ve been catching have been of good quality. Most of the rockfish have been caught on shrimp flies and the bar and swimbait bite has been tough. The lingcod are far and few between but we’re catching a straggler here and there. Here’s a little breakdown of our past week.

Sunday the 18th, 210 rockfish and 7 lingcod for 21 anglers.
Wednesday the 21st, 200 rockfish and 1 lingcod for our 20 anglers.
Thursday the 22, 220 rockfish and 3 lingcod for our 22 anglers.
Friday the 23rd, 160 rockfish and 4 lingcod for our 16 anglers.
And yesterday Saturday the 24th, 240 rockfish and 1 lingcod for our 24 anglers.

We’ll be off this whole week for our annual Coast Guard inspection and will start fishing everyday starting May 1.

The Sea Wolf runs trips out of Fish Emeryville in Emeryville, CA. If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (510) 652-3403 to get in on the action.
