Not to be outdone, the city of Oroville will also put on an excellent free "Hooked on Fishing, not on Drugs" event on Saturday [May 30], running from 7:00 AM to noon at Bedrock Park. The event is for kids age 12 and under, with steelhead, catfish and trout planted. There is a two fish limit per child, and a handicapped-accessible pond is available. Also featured will be a free pancake breakfast for age 12 and under, bounce house, fishing simulator, Indent-A-Child, and a free photo of your fish. For more information, call 533-3142.
