We're nearing the mid November milestone and our Sacramento River hatchery run of steelhead appear to be right on schedule.  Steelhead fishing in the Balls Ferry section of the river has been productive this past week and should improve even more with this coming weeks rain.  The steelhead are in great shape and most are a bit bigger than we normally see this time of the year.  Stay tuned as this Sacramento River steelhead fishery builds all the way into January again this season.  Its going to be another great winter steelhead season!
