Bay charter boats continue to put their clients into good numbers of halibut and striped bass. Most are taking home one or two halibut per rod along with at least one striped bass per rod. The leopard shark fishing remains solid in the South Bay. The striped bass still holding off the rock piles and near Alcatraz Island. The halibut are taken off the flats, Angel Island and outside the gate off Seal Rock. There has been an absence of white sea bass as of late. Several weeks ago the sea bass fishing was off the charts.
