Water temp-64-66
Water clarity-clear to slightly stained.

Got on the lake at sunrise in hopes of catching some bed fish. Tried a few spots in the main lake and found beds without fish. Threw poppers and buzz baits trying to get some top water action on the main lake points and coves. Couldn’t find any. Changed up to shaky heads and drop shot and moved into some of the usual hot spots. Bam there they were! Boated 25+ in the 1-2# range. Had the first double up since I’ve owned the boat! My buddy lost a nice 4+ when it jumped and spit the hook right next to the boat. No giants in the live well but overall a really fun day of fishing!

This is a great time of the year to get out there and catch a bunch!
