The Kokanee bite is definitely on. We are seeing mid summer 15 to 16 inch fish in good numbers here in early April. The Koks are hitting pink hoochies and Uncle Larry's spinners behind Vance's dodgers. Vance's slim willies on our weights help to attract more fish. Shoepeg corn soaked in Pro Cure Carp spit and fresh water shrimp help to entice the fish to strike. We found a nice school of Kokanee on the west bank between Black Bark Cove and the spillway 20 to 30 feet deep. The mouth of Angels Creek also produced fish as well as Glory Hole Point.

Also rolling shad injected with Pro-Cure oils is always a good choice. ...... Read More
