Fishing on the Klamath River below Irongate Dam is redhot. I have been fishing clients (Hugo and Nancy Trevino of Stockton) and family (My Dad Jerry and my son Conner) for the past week and have boated no less than 35 Steely/Trout per trip. Over a 3 day span last week (Thursday Friday and Saturday) we caught 107 Steely/Trout out of 159. These fish are hungry and ready to fight. The weather could not be any better, Sunny and 75. I expect sometime in the next 14 days we will begin to see the Salmonflies start to hatch, then watch the feeding frenzy begin. Flies plugs and bait are all working, with bait (worms) working the best.
