Some of the best striped bass fishing is taking place on the Bay along with excellent halibut fishing at the usual haunts, the rock piles and flats on the drift with live anchovies. Halibut going to 33 pounds with the average bass going 5 to 10 pounds, up to an occasional fish in the teens. Limits have been the rule.
