This lake is such a sleeper. You can find great fishing here and no one around. Late Autumn is a great time to fish this lake! Best fishing is going to happen near the inflow of the upper McCloud. The fishing can be and has been amazing! Winter storms will dump snow here making it difficult to impossible to get a boat in the water let alone near the boat ramp.

Try stripping leeches and buggers. Use a full sinking line to get your buggers or Clouser Minnow down deep, fast.
