Trout Fishing
With the cooler weather the trout bite has started to come back just in time for closing day which this year is Sunday November 15 h our hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. This year the boat launch will also be open until the 15th November.

Catfish Fishing
The Catfish bite seems to be slowing down.

Crappie Fishing

The crappie bite is on and the best locations are down the middle of scow canyon and at the boat launch area.

Lake Level: 293 ft
Surface Temp: 59 F
Fish Plant: we did not plant any fish this week

Fish Tales
Mark Atengo of Vallejo caught 2 Carp the largest weighing 8.27 lbs using corn at the main rec. on Tuesday 10-20-15.

Nicole and Emily Tran of Castro Valley Ca caught 5 trout while fishing at Family Fishing Day on Saturday October 24th

Mike Tomita of El Sobrante caught 3 trout the weight of the stringer 7.57lbs fishing at the Main Rec on Monday 10-26-15 using Mice Tails.

Trout fishing We planted 1,200 pounds of Mt Lassen Trout on Tuesday 9-30-15 at the boat launch. Catfish fishing The Catfish bite has increased with the warmer weather. Catfish bite on night-crawlers, chicken livers, anchovies, and baits that are stinky fish on the bottom.
