Lake Camanche's current elevation is 179.58 as of 04/22/15. Water temperature at the launch ramp is approximately 69 degrees and the lake is 26% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 225 c.s.f. The flow into Camanche varies from 11 cfs to 800 cfs. as EBMUD generates electricity from Pardee's flow. At this time they turn on two of the three generating units periodically during the week. Each unit can deliver 400 cfs, thus the 11-800 cfs range.

With the weather is warming up crappie, trout, and trout have all been caught this week. Favorite fishing spots for trout this week were North Shore Day Use and trolling 10′ -15′ down out by the dam. Bass was reported hot out at Houseboat Cove. Crappie were reeled in from the Willows Day Use area.

Baits reported this week were Crappie: crappie jig. Trout: white garlic power bait, rapala and an unnamed favorite lure. Bass: rapala.

Mt. Lassen Trout delivery came in on Wednesday 4/23/15 with 600 lbs. dropped at the South Shore Pond and 600 lbs. in the lake. Water temperatures will allow another plant this week.

Lassen trout were planted 4/15/15 with 600 lbs going to the North shore rap and 600 lbs to the South shore ramp. Another 1,200 lbs is scheduled for next...... Read More
