Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler out of Bodega Bay, "I'm calling to give trip results for Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
"On Saturday August the 4th the New Sea Angler had 44 Anglers. They caught 37 Lingcod to 16 lbs. plus full limits of Rockfish. That's 440 Rockfish.
"On Sunday August the 5th 43 Anglers caught 53 Lingcod to 21 lbs. In addition they caught 430 Rockfish, full limits of Rockfish.
"The most recent trip, today August the 6th. 37 Anglers caught 45 Lingcod to 18 lbs. They also caught 370 Rockfish, that's full limits of Rockfish for everybody on the boat.
"It's a "red hot" Lingcod bite off Point Reyes and also at Fort Ross. Fishing has been extremely good. If you are interested in information or reservations give us a call at 707-875-3495. We have lots of room available this week."

Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler on July 11, "The New Sea Angler had 35 Anglers, we caught 350 Rockfish, 23 Lingcod to 16 lbs., plus 25 Salmon to 21 lbs. We had an excellent Combo Trip, the Rockcod and Lingcod were taken off Timber Cove and the Salmon were caught directly southwest of Salmon Creek Beach in about 100 ft. of water.
