New Sea Angler Fish Report July 24th thru July 27th

Rick Powers called in to give us this update on fishing aboard the New Sea Angler from July 24th thru July 27th.

"On Tuesday July 24th 35 Anglers caught full limits of Rockfish that's 350 Rockfish. They added 9 Lingcod to 12 lbs. and 20 Salmon to 24 lbs.

"On Wednesday July 25th, 25 Anglers caught 21 Salmon to 18 lbs. plus 250 Rockfish and 10 Lingcod to 15 lbs.

"On Thursday July 26th, 40 Anglers caught 400 Rockfish plus 28 Lingcod to 22 lbs.

"Today, Friday the 27th 32 Anglers caught 320 Rockfish, 26 Lingcod to 17 lbs. and 2 Salmon to 25 lbs. The Rockfish were quality Vermillion Rockfish along with Yellowtail, Blue, Copper and Brown Rockfish. We fished the wreck for the first time this season in 150 feet of water. The fishing is excellent, a fantastic grade of fish, probably a 40 lbs. sack average. The weather remains good, the fishing remains excellent. The Salmon bite off Bird Rock and the Bodega Bay Whistle Buoy.

Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler on July 11, "The New Sea Angler had 35 Anglers, we caught 350 Rockfish, 23 Lingcod to 16 lbs., plus 25 Salmon to 21 lbs.
