Trout fishing has still been good at Lost Creek. Water temperatures heated up this past week but trout are still being caught. Trollers have caught fish along the dam, along the shoreline to the right of the marina, and upstream of the Hwy. 62 Bridge trolling with a wedding ring. Bank anglers are catching fish near the Takelma ramp and near the marina and spillway using Powerbait or threading a nightcrawler below a bobber. Fishing for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass should also be good. The lake is 74 percent full, and the lake surface temperature was 75oF on Monday, Aug 1.
