The Applegate River is open for trout angling. Two hatchery trout may be harvested per day. Wild trout must be released unharmed. Trout over 16 inches are considered steelhead in streams and must be tagged. Flow out of Applegate Reservoir as 326 cfs and 56 degrees Fahrenheit on Aug. 1.
