Colorado River - Davis Dam - NV

Our visiting anglers from Texas or Tim and Liz Eilands visiting grand kids Ava at 8 years old and Parks at 6 years old they brought these trout in to let me get samples of what they have been eating the fish weighed in at .64 and 1.38 pounds the smaller one was 12.5 inches and the other 15 and 5/8 inches. and they were packed full of caddis flies.

In the Rotary park area its either stripers or trout Greg Amyx shows off his limit of trout. He was fishing form shore using power bait and these rainbows weighed in the 1 pound range.

Our visiting angler Skip Leese from Washington State landed a 2.84 pound striper at 19 and 7/8 inches above the bridge. He was fishing from shore and using anchovies.

Our local angler Lino Garcias landed 3 stripers in this area using anchovies with one weighing in at 3.32 pounds and 21 and 1/4 inches.

A visiting angler from Washington state Skip Leese was also fishing near the dam using anchovies and his fish weighed in at 3.74 pounds and 24 and 3/8 inches.

We have the Romeros family Chiwy with his son Gordoy (5 years old) which is seen here helping dad show off the catch. while Tury wasn’t able to make it in but did land one of the stripers. They were fishing from shore near the Davis Dam on the Nevada side using anchovies. the larger one weighed in at 2.38 pounds and 20 and 3/8 inches.
