The fishing is still hot and the afternoon temperatures are beautiful, a little cold in the a.m. and p.m. but between 2 and 5 it is just about as perfect as it can get up here. Fly fishers use caddis, nymphs or wooly buggers near the dam, the front of the marina and Lake View, Bait anglers use purple or rainbow Power Bait or red and white Power Eggs. Night crawlers need a little float so some are having luck using a small dab of power bait with it on about three feet of leader line. Orange Kastmasters or Red Dog lures also work well.
