Lake Berryessa Fish Report

Lake Berryessa - Winters, CA (Napa County)

by Nor Cal Fish Reports
12-12-2012

Water is clean despite the recent rain. Bait has retreated to deeper water. Bass anglers have to search for the fish. A 9.8 pound bass was caught in Rag Canyon on a Blade Runner spoon. Most of the bass being caught are spotted bass. Trout can be found in depths from 40 to 110 feet below the surface. Bite is up and down. Salmon are harder to come by. This is a good time to fish the coves with live minnows under bobbers. Sweeney’s Sports (707) 255-5544; Don Paganelli (916) 502-3474
