Fishing at the mouth of the Klamath River has improved over the last several days and some of the guides did well a mile or so above the boat ramp. Looks like we are on the edge of it. I am booked Saturday and Monday so we will have a first hand report.

We fished the Klamath River almost to Johnsons looking for fish today with a couple of folks from Brookings, Oregon. Water temperatures were warm and fishing was extremely slow. Out of 19 boats four fish were caught. The good news is we had two salmon. Both were about 10#. I am moving trips until the river gets it's run of salmon. The tribal gill netters are also slow, which tells me the runs has not pushed in. I will stay...... Read More
