Some nice salmon are entering the system, but the schools are small and scattered. We are seeing more salmon jumping and reports from down river are encouraging. We are burning lots of gas searching for fish. For example, today, we fished for 12 hours from the Diversion Dam to below the Los Molinos bridge for one king salmon for 2 guests. We had a great day on the water and are looking forward to the run building as it normally does during the month of August.
