I would like to start off by saying thank you to all that came out for our inaugural event. It was a beautiful day on the water, with just a little wind in the morning. We started off the morning with Snack Packs and a few rule changes during our morning talk and then a moment of silence for a fellow fisherman/friend Robert Jackson who tragically lost his life in an auto accident on Friday morning, our sincerest condolences to his family. We then introduced a young military man who just returned from Afghanistan and wanted to fish his first ever tournament, we are pleased that he chose our Trail to cut his teeth with. Lesley wanted to dedicate the National Anthem to him as a thank you for his service. 35 boats blasted off in pursuit of some of Lake Oroville's bounty and returned at 3pm to weigh-in and then have some hotdogs/chips & water while watching the action. In the end the team of Ron Gandolfi and Vic Petkus bested the field with over 13lbs topped off with a 6 ?? lb. largemouth taking home over $2000. In 2nd place was the team of Brad Bonino and Mike Tanaka coming to the scales with a high 10lb weight and pocketing just under $1100. Rounding out the top 3 was the team of Dean McDaniels and Justin Nelson with 10.36 lbs and taking home $849. All together not a bad day for an entry fee of $130/$200 ALL-IN. The rest of the field is posted on the attached file, with the entrys' and option counts just below that, this is so that everyone can see that every penny promised is accounted for, my books will always be available to anyone that would like to see them. I posted every other one in yellow to try and help separate for easier viewing. Remember, I want your feedback, let me know what we can do different to make this a better experience for all of you.

I would like to take an opportunity to say Thank you to Chuck Patterson Toyota/Scion/Dodge of Chico, they have sponsored the release boat for the entire season, they will bring their beautifully wrapped Dodge Diesel with a light bar (how cool is that) to each of our events, that thing drags that boat around like it is nothing even with 500 gals of water in it. Thank you also to Dallas Merrick of Red's Baits who once again gave away several packages of his excellent (seriously, I use them as well) swimmer baits and has supported our trail since the beginning. And last but not least My Entire Family, who give so much of their time helping me do something I truly love to do. I wouldn't want to do it with out them. We hope to see you all and plenty more on December 7th for our next event. Until next time, have a happy Thanksgiving season, good health and good fishing to you all.
