It is so great to see the Summer with such a good bite this year. At the present the lake is over 125 feet down and the water temps are starting to cool a bit and are running between upper 60's to mid 70's.

The reaction bite has been on fire this year as I had hoped for. With lipless crank baits Persuader Image spinner baits and other crank baits the bite is outstanding. Now that school has started the lake is back to its fishing best with little traffic during the week and average traffic on the weekends. There are still dates during Sept and Oct. open to start the Fall bite. It should be fantastic this year with the low water conditions. We will still be able to launch from Lime Saddle for a couple of months but will always be able to launch from the dam or Bidwell if need be.

Pictured Above: This is a photo of how aggressive the bass have been this Summer. Two bass on the same lipless crank bait.
Photo #1: Here is Bryn Melton with a nice bass off the slot.
Photo #2: This is Mark and Ethan Hoffman who had a great couple days out on Lake Oroville.

If you have any questions or would like to book a trip, just give me a call or email me. It is always a pleasure to serve you.

Best regards,

Ron
