Fish Report:
They are catching Trout at around 30' by the Dam. The Largemouth bite has slowed a bit but they are still hitting in the mornings at the south end of the lake. Their favorite bait has been Senkos. The Smallmouth bite is coming on. Bob Hargrove, pictured above had a couple of hits in the early morning on small crank baits and Rat-L-Traps then he took the picture above with this catfish.

Catfish have been the best bet. They can be found just about anywhere in the lake using Anchovies, Chicken Liver, Sardines or anything Stinky.

Stripers have started to bite in the Narrows and by the Dam using Rapalas. The keepers have been tougher to catch. The Crappie bite has been non-existant for the time being. Bluegill will continue to bite throughout the summer.

Photo #1: Jim Franz of Alameda brought in a 10 lb. stringer of Catfish from the West Beach using worms. The largest fish weighed 3 lbs.
Photo #2: Steve Leca of Fremont caught a 3.1 lb. Striper using a Rapala.
Photo #3: Jeff Linschoten of San Lorenzo and Frank Gonzales of Newark brought in a stringer of 8 Trout and 4 Stripers. The largest fish weighed in at 4 lbs. caught at the Dam using Green Pumpkin PowerBait.
