Crppie is hitting in the cool of the mornings and evenings. The best bait for the slabs has been Crappie Jigs and Panther Martins. The smallmouth are biting on topwater Zara Spooks and J7 Broken-Back Rapalas. Largemouth are hitting spinner bait , crank bank and artifical lures. Catfish are biting anything that stinks. They prefer Anchovies, Mackerel, Chicken Liver and Shrimp. Stripers are starting to bite this week. They have not started to boil yet. The lake is waiting for the temperature on the lake to rise more than it has.
