The Sacramento River Striper fishing has finally gotten good in the Colusa to Tisdale area. The best technique is to drift jumbo Minnows, most of the Stripers are schooly size with the occasional 40 lbs. showing up.

The Wild Rainbow Trout fishing from Redding to Anderson has been good the past few trips out and will only get better as the weather warms up and we quit having the rains in the foot hills muddying up the river. What are they biting on for fly fishermen using small Caddis or Mayfly nymphs under a indicator. Spin fishermen are drifting worms, crickets or Glow Bugs. Trolling small lures will work also to hook a feisty wild Rainbow Trout on the Sacramento River.

Shasta lake Bass fishing, Trout and land locked Salmon fishing has been good and will only get better over the next couple months.
